child protection

We want to bless, protect, and guide our children, elderly, and any vulnerable population that we serve.

The Diocese of Springfield established the Office of Safe Environment and Victim Assistance to support the victims, survivors, and family members of those who have suffered from sexual abuse by the clergy or anyone working for the Catholic Church.

Massachusetts State law requires that abuse and/or neglect of a minor must be reported to the Massachusetts Department of Social Services Child-at-Risk Hotline at (800) 792-5200, or through the local police department. For further information, please call the Diocesan Office of Safe Environment and Victim Assistance at (413) 452-0624 or the confidential toll-free hotline at (800) 842-9055.
